Located in Switzerland, Raytech GmbH, was
formed in 1995 by development engineers as a totally employee owned company. The
aim of the company was to provide a secure working environment that allowed for
innovative design and manufacturing productivity, while maintaining a focus on
the needs of its customers.
The Raytech Three Phase Automatic
Transformer Turns Ratiometer, model TR-Spy, used in the maintenance testing of
power transformers, was the company’s first development. It excelled in
simplicity and ease of use and was recognized throughout the industry for it’s
accuracy, reliability, and ruggedness. This development was followed by the
introduction of the Raytech Single Phase Automatic Transformer Turns Ratiometer,
model TR-Jr. The TR-Jr. is a first class instrument taking its development from
the TR-Spy.
Other early projects completed by Raytech
include STUDIKUS, an administrative software; and a collaboration with PROMARINE,
with a systems monitoring instrument used on board ships for monitoring
different phases of operation.
